Terms of Use.

Welcome to Relembrando, a service operated by Relembrando LLC, a company organized under the laws of the State of Texas, United States ("Relembrando," "we," "us"). These Terms of Use govern your access to the app (iOS and Android), the web app (app.relembrando.com), capture via WhatsApp, and this website. By using Relembrando, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Relembrando is

Relembrando helps families record life stories and Letters to the Future. You record audio on the web, in the app, or through WhatsApp, and we transcribe and organize it into a family book that can be exported as a digital book (PDF or EPUB).

Your account

To use the service you need to create an account: for example, with Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, by email, or through WhatsApp. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for the activities carried out through it. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. The service is intended for people aged 18 or older; minors should use it only with the consent and supervision of a responsible adult.

The content you create

The audio, text, photos, and stories you add are yours. You retain ownership of that content. By using the service, you grant us the permission necessary to store, process, and display that content solely to provide Relembrando to you and to the people you share it with, including transcribing audio, organizing the text, and generating your book exports.

You represent that you have the right to record and submit the content you add. When you record other people's stories, do so with their knowledge and agreement.

Artificial intelligence

We use artificial intelligence services to transcribe your speech and organize the text. As with any automated transcription, the result may contain inaccuracies. We recommend reviewing the text. As described in our Privacy Policy, your family's audio and stories are not used to train AI models.

Acceptable use

When using Relembrando, you agree not to:

• upload content that is illegal, offensive, or that infringes third-party rights;
• use the service for fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes;
• attempt to circumvent the service's technical, security, or access limits;
• interfere with the operation of the platform or with other users' experience.

Objectionable content and reporting

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content, including content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, hateful, or sexually explicit, and any material that exploits or endangers children or other minors.

Any member can report a story or photo through the "Denunciar" (Report) action available in each item's menu in the app, or by writing to feedback@relembrando.com. We review reports and act promptly, usually within 24 hours, removing content that violates these Terms and, as set out in the Account termination section, we may suspend or terminate the account of the responsible person. Sharing on Relembrando is invite-only, within the family book (there is no public feed and no contact between strangers), and the book owner can remove any member at any time, revoking their access.

Subscriptions and payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Before subscribing, you can create stories on the free plan, with no card required, to get to know the product. Once you subscribe, the subscription renews automatically at the plan price until you cancel. You may cancel renewal at any time, through the same channel used to subscribe and with immediate effect on future charges, and access remains until the end of the period already paid for. Purchases made through the apps are processed by the App Store (Apple) and Google Play and follow those platforms' billing, renewal, and refund rules; card and Pix payments on the web are processed by Stripe, with Relembrando LLC as the party responsible for the charge (merchant of record).

30-day money-back guarantee: if you subscribe or buy a gift and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the charge. Subscriptions and gifts purchased on the web (Stripe) are refunded directly by us; for purchases made through the app stores, the refund is handled by the respective store (Apple or Google), and we recommend approval. This guarantee is a goodwill policy by Relembrando and does not affect your legal rights.

Right of withdrawal (consumers in Brazil): if you are a consumer resident in Brazil, you may withdraw from the purchase within 7 (seven) calendar days, counted from the purchase or the charge, with a full refund of the amounts paid, in accordance with Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (CDC). This right is independent of, and additional to, the 30-day guarantee above.

Account termination

You may delete your account at any time directly in the app, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms or uses the service in a way that harms other people or the platform.

Warranties and liability

Relembrando is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the service stable and to protect your memories, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. We recommend keeping copies of any content that is important to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use or unavailability of the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When there are material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, if necessary, notify you through the service's channels. Continued use after an update means you agree to the new version.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without prejudice to applicable mandatory rules. If you are a consumer resident in Brazil, Brazil's public-order consumer-protection rules apply, in particular the Consumer Protection Code (CDC), and you retain the right to bring any dispute in the courts of your domicile. For all other users, the competent forum is the State of Texas.
